Are you Big or Small?

Are you are Big Person or a small person? When Christians talk about being Big, we are not meaning that we are Big on our own strength. We are acknowledging that we are Big because:

1. who dwells in us, CHRIST, the maker of everything.unknown 077

“God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him.” John 1:3 NLT

2. of the Holy Spirit Himself who guides, comforts, and tells us things we could only know because He is the author of truth.

3. of our uniqueness and talents that are gifts from God. We can glorify Him by taking the talents he has given us and allowing Him to grow them exponentially.

Time for a StrollWhen we look at ourselves and say, “Look at me, I am beautiful, creative, and exquisitely made.” We ARE NOT bragging on something we did, but something HE DID. It is mesmerizing to think about how our eyes, brain, lungs and heart work. Think about our emotions, and most of all, how we can LOVE soooo deeply.

Rick Warren said in his book, The Purpose Driven Life,

“Salvation is a free gift based on God alone, but, spiritual growth is up to us”!!!!!!!

One way to grow spiritually is to remind ourselves what a fantastic job God did when he made us.

Don’t be small and think of yourself as insignificant! YOU ARE MARVELOUS. Be Big by acknowledging the gift of life breathed into your amazing precious lungs! Be Big by honoring the Holy Spirit who lives inside you.

“Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous–how well I know it.” Psalm 139:14 NLT

Be Big by standing in appreciation of the only unique you that will ever be!

OH Dear Melody!! how wonderfully put!! I am the BIGGEST I have ever been, and that is literal!! I am struggling with that part with God’s help. I do recognize that I am ” fearfully and wonderfully made” and that I have a great inheritance. My favorite verses are Psalm 16:5-11, and Proverbs 3:5-6. Your precious words described them exactly. I am so thrilled for you to share this with me!!! Thanks for your wonderful service. 2 Corinthians 9:12-15.
